Southern California succulents give our winter landscape lots of color. This painting resulted from a trip to Waterwise Botanicals in Bonsall, CA. A great place to buy drought tolerant plants, it is also a painter's delight with vignettes to provide a focal point for all the color. Plein air painters love it. And the owner is an artist himself so he makes us feel very welcome.
